What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. We ask for your understanding as we work to support these efforts to maintain security of your funds and our country.
ORIGINAL MEMBERSHIP
Omaha Police Department
As the original group for our core membership, the Omaha Police Department represented the majority of our membership. The OPD was established in 1857 and a couple of months later, J.A. Miller was named the first City Marshal. In 1866, the force had four men. The OPD had many different locations. The current headquarters location was built between 1968-70. For more information on OPD, visit their web site at www.opd.ci.omaha.ne.us.
